About Arch-i

Arch-i is the intelligent health platform of erudite.health, a Belgian health group. We work by a single principle: unified medicine, science and care united to tackle the cause of a complaint, not just the symptom. The app is the front door to all of it: the screen where the user meets Arch-i.

→ To strengthen our engineering team, we are looking for an AI Developer who builds the engine behind Arch-i: the place where every user takes their health into their own hands.

Your role

As an AI Developer, you help build the engine behind Arch-i: the system that turns an intake assessment into well-founded, personalised advice. You write production code, not prototypes, close to the data, the models and the rules that together shape the advice. What you build only goes live after clinical sign-off.

Your responsibilities:

• Build and improve the flow from intake assessment to personalised advice
• Translate the clinical rule logic into reliable, testable code
• Work with the master file as the ground-truth knowledge base
• Build data pipelines and safeguard data quality and privacy by design
• Apply LLMs and RAG to surface accurate knowledge with source citations
• Contribute to computer vision for the camera scan
• Build tests, evaluations and guardrails ahead of the clinical sign-off
• Take end-to-end ownership: from idea to production to monitoring

Your profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s in computer science, AI or data science (or equivalent through experience)
• 2 to 4 years’ experience with Python and building production software
• Experience with LLMs and/or RAG, or the aptitude and drive to learn it quickly
• You write tested, readable code and think in systems, not isolated scripts
• You enjoy working close to the subject matter and ask questions until you understand the domain
• Fluent Dutch and professional English

Nice to have

• Experience with computer vision or image processing
• Knowledge of MLOps: deployment, monitoring and evaluation of models
• Affinity with health, care or life sciences
• Awareness of privacy and regulation around health data (GDPR)
