→ To strengthen our Finance team, we are looking for an experienced Accountant to act as a trusted finance partner for our Ghent operations and further professionalize our financial processes.

Your role

As an Accountant, you are the financial cornerstone for our operations in Ghent. You are responsible for managing the entire accounting and you support financial reporting. You work closely with the Finance Director and other stakeholders within the organization.

You will be responsible for:

• End-to-end accounting (AP/AR/GL)
• Month-end and year-end closings
• VAT and tax declarations
• Financial reporting
• Cash flow follow-up
• Payroll bookings during closing
• Process and system optimization
• ERP implementation support

Your profile

• Bachelor degree in Accounting or equivalent through experience
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in accounting (more senior profiles are also welcome)
• Solid knowledge of Belgian GAAP
• Fluent in Dutch, with a good command of English and French
